A Tale of All Cities

This city……

Glittering, glimmering,

with promises of tomorrow,

Houses massive,

yet minds are so narrow,

Like death it feeds,

Sparing behind no sorrow.

Inflated egos and desires

and peace you can’t borrow.

Still millions come,

on each and every morrow.

The streets become home,

with hopes of tomorrow,

yet some eyes dare to dream,

for a better tomorrow!
